In 1979, Elar Partners was established – the first agent-owned reinsurance company of its kind, with distribution of over $100 million to its agent owners over its 25 year history, ending in 2005.

In 1999, Windsor and its principals co-created and became one of the founding firms of National Financial Partners (NFP). Today NFP is a leading independent distributor of financial products and services to the high net-worth and small-to-medium corporate client.

Today, Windsor is a respected leader of the life insurance industry. We have earned a reputation for extraordinary service, unique relationships, financial stability and unfailing integrity that have been the hallmarks of Windsor for over 40 years.
